A New Journal

Today was a great day to start a new journal. In 2019 I kept a daily journal, a few points of what I did each day. In 2020 I stopped the practice and ended up not keeping record of any thoughts or activities, with the exception of a training journal for my weight lifting.

Recently I read a few books centred on the stoic philosophy. I’ve always been interested in this, both due to the framework and the historical figures – Marcus Aurelius and Seneca.

WIth today being my day off, it was as great a day as any to start. Once I did open the pages and start jounraling, the words flowed. Starting is often the hardest. Maintaining is easier.

Let’s see where this goes.
