On Sunday I said ‘I do’ to the love of my life. It was an amazing day, and I’m so grateful that we were able to celebrate with many of our family and friends. Many memories that will last a lifetime were made ☺️
In my last blog post, I wrote a few thoughts that I had on how to start a marriage strong, and continue the strength that we had build during our relationship. It’s something I try and keep front of mind, and is something I want to continue to build and share.
Our marriage started unique us, and I wouldn’t have it any other way. After the amazing festivities of the day, we went and spent a night at the Emporium, and after a walk, dinner, and a shower, it was time to watch an anime episode. Because rising of the shield hero season two has started, of course. That’s us, and it is amazing.
Our focus now is getting ready for our honeymoon, where we’ll be doing the Overland track. As this post publishes, we’ll be in Launceston, spending the day getting our gear ready and final preparations made, ready for the shuttle to pick us up to start the trek. We plan to do it in six days, in line with the guidebook. We’ll see you on the other side. Have an amazing week 🥾🏔
