Healthier Each Day

Get a bit better each day, set as the new base line, level up, be healthier each day

Me, thinking about my podcast and aim

Last week I released episode one of my new podcast, Healthier Each Day. I also retired my old podcast. I’m excited for the new content. The name change aligns which what I’m passionate talking about. Healthier Each Day allows for multiple themes to be explored such as habits/systems, exercise, eating, relationships, hobbies, and everything in between.

I’ve enjoyed the podcast space since dipping my toes in to this field. It’s a new hobby for me and once I’ve been thrilled to explore. We all have wisdom we can share with the world and podcasting is a great means for that. So too is this blog. Implementing practical solutions and giving practical tips is something I’ve been passionate about for a while.

Healthier Foundations

When thinking about healthier themes, I was drawn back to the foundations that I try to life my life on. This aligns closely with one of my aims of building out a philosophy for life. You need to have strong foundations. I need to reconfirm and rediscover my foundations, and make them healthier. My foundations are:

  • Family
  • Relationships/Connections
  • Fitness
  • Eating/Nutrition
  • Habits/Systems
  • Finances
  • Life
  • Work/Career
  • Philosophy/Way of life/Spiritual

These are the building blocks that we need to continually strengthen, to make healthier each day. It is from these pillars that we are able to build the life that we want. To adventure, laugh, quest. To have meaningful relationships and experiences. I want to grow as a person and pursue the things that are interesting to me. Healthier finances means I can travel and explore, provide for my family. I want to work part time when there are future children so I am able to dedicate time to being with them.

Only by becoming healthier each day will I be able to do so. By being clear on my aim, I can build systems that allow me to undertake tasks that lead me in the right direction. When the going gets tough, the ship will still be able to head north. This is what I’m exploring.

I’m glad you are joining me for the journey.
